The original CCLA email event has been modified.   A section consists of 5 players, one game per opponent.   Entry fee $ 6.00,  prize $ 10.00 per section.   Be sure to specify which rating group ( 1600 & over,   or under 1800 ) with your entry.

Matches consist of 2 games and are arranged by the players themselves, who then send in the entry fees to receive an official match number so the match can be rated.   Players new to CCLA may not enter this event directly. CCLA will attempt to arrange a match for you   -   contact the Editor of Chess Correspondent magazine. Thematic matches - opening variation is agreed upon in advance and all games follow this line.
 
Note: current CCLA membership, FIDE/ICCF, USPCF (or equivalent) rating and paid entry fee are required to participate in any CCLA event.
