The Chess Correspondent is included in regular membership dues. CCLA also offers an electronic version of CC (.pdf Adobe Acrobat email attachment) at the reduced dues rate of $ 19.00 per year. The Chess Correspondent is available to foreign subscribers by surface mail at $ 27.00 per year, by airmail at $ 42.00 per year, from

Regular CCLA Membership is open only to residents of the United States and Canada. If you are not a resident of the USA or Canada, you may participate in server and email events via the associate membership. Associate members may not vote or hold elected office, and do not receive a printed copy of the Chess Correspondent magazine unless they subscribe separately.
CCLA ByLaw VI states: "No member will be permitted to develop a debit balance." Entry fees must be paid in advance before players can be added to new or existing sections. Entries via email will be assigned to sections only if the member has a sufficient credit balance. Please send your check or money order payble to CCLA, P.O. Box 142, Livingston, NJ USA 07039-0142. Sorry - credit card processing is not available at this time.
Note: CCLA does not arrange private matches; players do this themselves, then send in both entry fees. New members may advertise for matches by writing the editor of our Chess Correspondent magazine.
